Excellent location, easy to find, quiet and comfortable area (as far as I can tell from a single night's stay). Wish I could have seen it in daylight! The place is lovely, rooms spacious and well organised, the decor sober but not devoid of personality. Really nice desk in lieu of a simple table, which is a nice plus for business or longer stays. Comfort was pretty much maximum, that was one of the best nights I've had in a hotel. The staff was proactive, accommodating and welcoming.

Very helpful staff. Not a modern hotel, but the room was clean and the bed comfortable . Off-road parking available, 15 minutes' walk to the centre of town and its amenities.

The property was easy to find and opposite the Abbey. We were given a warm welcome and told about the facilities the hotel offered. Our room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. We were with 3 minutes walking distance if several good restaurants.

Superb breakfast - delicious croissants- and good choices for different tastes…. The tea wasn’t very good for English people though!!!! Great welcome and very helpful member of staff.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and quiet. We had the ‘express’ breakfast which was an excellent alternative and suited us as we only take a light breakfast. The hotel offered parking on the premises and was a fifteen minute or so walk into the centre of town. It was also very close to the Abbaye de Bru which you really shouldn’t miss. The staff were very helpful, so there was really nothing to fault. We loved the hotel and would stay there again if we were in the region. We recommend it without any reservations.

I was there under sad circumstances and the staff were so accomodating, especially Camille on reception. I was going through a lot and her kindness made me cry infront of her! She was lovely. I stayed in two different rooms. One had a great 80s vibe, the other was more modern. I loved them both. Probably favouring the 80s one, stylistically. I hope they don't update that one. The wifi wasn't working when I was there - but I'm sure that's only temporary. 10 mins walk to the town centre and you're right next to the monastry and Typewriter (yes-it's real!) museum. I'd stay here again.

The hotel has the simple elegance and easygoing charm of the fifties, and everything seemed perfect to me. You can park the car on the street right in front of the hotel entrance for as long as you want—and for free. Very nice restaurants and lots of things to see in the neighborhood, and no hectic.

Secure motorcycle parking, Friendly helpful staff, clean spacious rooms, comfortable beds, small elevator if needed, Nearby restaurants with plenty of choice, 10 minute walk to town centre for bars and restaurants etc,

The location next to the Brou monastery and the cozy breakfast room, free parking space. It's close to the street yet calm, comfy bed.
